The Trumpet is Wartburg’s award-winning student-run newspaper. Check out on and off campus coverage of local and national news, arts and entertainment, culture and diversity, sports and more. Columns and editorials also add student perspectives on national topics and the effect of these topics on campus life. “The Trumpet” publishes biweekly during Fall and Winter terms, excluding college breaks. Copies are mailed to subscribers and available to students at several locations throughout campus.

- ‘INCREDIBLE’ OVIEDO WIDENS HORIZONS FOR SPANISH MAJORS Oviedo, a city in Spain known for its beautifully grand architecture, rich history, and delicious cuisine, was home to a group of four Wartburg students for 10 weeks over the summer.
