After a 65.63% victory announced via the Juice on Thursday, February 11, Moore and Hobson spoke with the Wartburg Trumpet about their platform and plans for the 2021-22 academic year.
A student debate was held in the McCaskey Lyceum Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2. The debate was organized by the Student Senate Election committee one week before Wartburg students vote for a new student body treasurer, vice president and president for the 2021-2022 academic year.
According to a survey of 111 students conducted by the Trumpet, 96.4% of respondents will vote on Election Day.
For Wartburg students, this could be the first presidential election in which they are participating.
