On Tuesday, September 21, there will be a Get Carded push day to encourage everyone in the campus community, including students, faculty and staff, to turn in their vaccination information.
Currently, vaccine information is captured through uploads from the COVID self-assessment tool on Info Center or by physically showing the card in either the Student Life or Human Resource offices. However, data indicates that many vaccinated students, faculty and staff have not yet provided their information. Wartburg aims to provide the most accurate information possible on the Knights Care dashboard, located at https://www.wartburg.edu/knights-care/#dashboard.
On September 21, Wartburg Public Health Ambassadors and college staff members will be stationed near the stairs of the Mensa from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Students should bring their physical vaccination card to have it immediately entered in the college’s data system. You can also check to see if your information has already been submitted, learn the facts about the COVID vaccine and get information on locations offering immediate vaccinations. Students submitting their cards will also receive the opportunity to have their name entered in a raffle for various prizes.
If students have not yet submitted their vaccination card online and are unable to attend the tabling, the card can be shown during office hours in the Student Success Center, located in the Student Life suite, or in the Human Resources office.
