The Big Ten Conference announced Wednesday morning that football will begin play on Oct. 24.

The decision was a unanimous vote by the Big Ten Council of Presidents and Chancellors, according to the Big Ten. The conference will require student athletes, coaches, trainers and others who attend all practices to undergo daily antigen testing. Each institution’s data will be reported to the Big Ten Conference. Daily testing will begin by Sept. 30.
The Big Ten Conference is made up of 14 schools across the U.S., with the closest to Wartburg being the University of Iowa, located in Iowa City. Click here for more information regarding the decision from the Big Ten.
