Wartburg will host Kastle Kapers, the evening talent show that features students’ talents. The “Back to the ‘Burg”-themed shows are at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, and 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 in Neumann Auditorium.
Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults.
“Many of the students put a lot of hard work and dedication into their acts,” Linzy Solberg, Homecoming co-director and a third-year business administration major, said. “For athletes, they are able to show off their skills in a game, but Kapers provides an opportunity for students who are talented in other areas to show off their skills. It will be great to see the audience’s reactions to each of them.”
This year’s performers range from skilled comedians to an ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) performance, to drumline to large choral ensembles, which include Ritterchor, Festeburg and Rosenchor.
“Community members and students should attend because it is a good way to see all of the spectacular talent that Wartburg provides since we have such a wide array of performers,” Ryan Gilstrap, a homecoming committee member and second-year neuroscience major, said.
